The Ryman Auditorium is a National United States Historic Landmark better known as the historic home of the weekly country music stage concert Grand Ole Opry. It was built in 1891 as a place of worship and to this day, audiences are seated in pews rather than conventional theater seating. After the Opry moved out in 1974, it was neglected until 1992; it was reopened as a museum and performance venue in 1994.

Location formerly known as:
  • Union Gospel Tabernacle (1892-1904)
  • Grand Ole Opry House (1943-1974)
