Gimpo International Airport (formerly known as Kimpo International Airport) used to be the main international airport for the Seoul area, before the opening of Incheon International Airport. Today, it is South Korea's second largest airport, after Incheon International Airport, and serves some short-haul international flights and most of Seoul's domestic flights.
