Opened in 1996, Bridgestone Arena is the home arena of the NHL's Nashville Predators, as well as the Arena Football League's Nashville Kats on two separate occasions. In 2003, it hosted the NHL Entry Draft; in that draft, the Anaheim Ducks selected future captain Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry in the first round.
