The George Massey Tunnel is the lowest public road in Canada, with its lowest point at 80 feet (25 meters) below sea level. It crosses the Fraser River and its main purpose is to connect Vancouver and its airport to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and the Canada-United States border. It is part of BC Highway 99, which is the Canadian continuation of the United States' Interstate 5.
