Songdo International Business District (also known as New Songdo City) is a large-scale development project in Incheon, close to Incheon International Airport, which serves the Seoul area. Built on 1500 acres of reclaimed land from the Yellow Sea and designed as an international business and residential district, it cost about US $40 million, making it the largest private real estate development project of all time and one of the most expensive developments, private or public.
