The Busan International Ferry Terminal is South Korea's main gateway to Japan, as well as an important port connecting to China and Russia. It carries cargo from those countries, as well as passengers (mostly towards Japan's Tsushima and Fukuoka). Its major international passenger route connects Busan to Japan's Hakata Port International Terminal in Fukuoka.
