The White Rock Pier stretches 1500 feet (457.2 meters) into Semiahmoo Bay, which straddles the border between British Columbia in Canada and Washington state in the United States. It was built in the early half of the 20th century and was restored at the latter half of the century, along with upgrading the beachside promenade. It still plays a role as a maritime border crossing point for small American boats entering British Columbia.
