Canada Post built and owns the largest mailbox in the world as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2000. It was originally erected in downtown Vancouver but now rotates annually around the Vancouver area during Christmastime. It measures 17 feet and 10 inches (5.43 meters) in height, 7 feet and 2 inches (2.64 meters) in width and 6 feet and 6 inches (1.98 meters) deep. It has been placed in locations such as Canada Place, Robson Square, and the Richmond Cultural Centre (picture above).
