The Ericsson Globe is the largest hemispherical building in the world; it is the current home of the Swedish national men's hockey team as well as the former home of the Hammarby IF, Djurgårdens IF and AIK IF hockey teams. It has also hosted games in the annual NHL Premiere series since 2009 (including a game featuring the Ducks in 2011); the NHL Challenge Series in 2000, 2001 and 2003; the World Hockey Championships in 1989, 1995, 2012 and 2013; and the World Cup of Hockey in 1996 and 2004. The building also represents the sun in the Sweden Solar System, the world's largest scale model of the solar system.
