The Longest Game 4 CF ("Longest Game for Cystic Fibrosis") set the Guinness World Record for the longest ice hockey game on September 5, 2011 at the Canlan Ice Sports Burnaby 8 Rinks. The game consisted of 40 women playing 4-hour shifts, totaling 243 hours and 5 minutes (about 10 days), and over 2500 goals scored. It was planned as a fundraiser for cystic fibrosis research.
