Britannia Heritage Shipyards is a National Historic Site of Canada that served the surrounding Steveston village during its role as one of the largest cannery and fishery towns in Canada. Formerly a cannery, it was converted to a large shipyard after the industry declined and eventually evolved into a mix of canneries, shipyards and residences. It is one of the last surviving ones of its kind remaining in the country.

Location formerly known as:
  • Britannia Shipyards, Britannia Cannery (1889-1980)
