Anaheim Ducks towel invades: Glasgow Cathedral

Submitted by: Dark Knight (from Southern California, CA, USA)

Country: United Kingdom
Sovereign state: Scotland
City: Glasgow
Location: Glasgow Cathedral [map]
Status of building/structure since photo:

The Glasgow Cathedral was built in the late 12th century, before the Reformation (making it one of the few medieval churches in Scotland to survive that time period), and is home to the Church of Scotland. Today, it is technically not a cathedral since it has not been home to an archbishop since 1690, but remains a popular worship and tourist site.
